Even More News!

Guess what! Boydee and I are teaching a class at Summer Camp this year titled, “Family Tree, with Mrs. Erica and Boydee”. It’s going to be great! We’re learning all about, people related to Jesus.

In our first episode, we learn all about Jesus’ very first relative, “Adam”.

We begin by learning how God created a space for Adam by first creating the heavens and the earth. We then learn how God created all the animals and lastly how God made Adam special. God created all things by the power of His Word but with Adam, He formed him and breathed the breath of life into him.

Come join us on this very special journey. In our next episode, we will learn about the one whose family remade the world, “Noah”.

Boydee learns about, “Kinds”.

Boydee, the twenty-year-old Yorkshire Terrier, sharing joy and faith with children

In episode one of our, “Family Tree” videos, Boydee learns about the different kinds on the earth. Boydee thinks Mrs. Erica is his birth mom until he learns that everything is made according to its own kind. After learning that he has a “real” mom Boydee tells Mrs. Erica that he’s going to find his real mom. Mrs. Erica explains that Boydee is her adopted baby and that he has no other mom but that he came from a dog according to his own kind.

Boydee also learns that just because there are different breeds of dogs that all dogs come from dogs. He learns that likewise humans no matter how different we all may look that there is only one kind of human. Mrs. Erica explains that there is only one human race and all humans are related to our first mother and father Papa Adam and Mama Eve. We are all made in the likeness of God and God differs from us in that He is holy and cannot sin. God is a spirit and we are His creation.

Mind-blowing News!

Mind blowing

Boydee tells Mrs. Erica mind-blowing news! Holy Trinity Lutheran Church is starting a new Youth Group in August and all the kids from upper elementary and middle school are all invited. It’s going to be a great time of board games, video games, pizza making, and more!

We will have a time of devotion and worship with Contemporary Christian Music and a quick message from Pastor Dan and sometimes special guests, “Mrs. Erica and Boydee”. If you are interested in joining our Youth Group, please contact the church office and talk to Erica to learn more.
